This release contains a bunch of improvements to the app. Here there are some details about them:
Email/Domain Threat Alerting Enhancements
The Dark Web Monitoring tool will now be named Email/Domain Threat Alerting. Everything in the app and documentation will now make reference to this new name. If you have any question or doubt about this, contact us and we could help you.
Apart from changing the name of this great feature we redesigned the way how this feature works to provide a better user experience to the customers using this tool. These are some of the changes you will found in the app after this release:
- Removing dependency of entering a Domain to scan Email Credential Threats.
Before this release the action of scanning the users' roster was tied to first enter a Domain obligatorily, so it was affecting the user experience for customers without custom domains. On this release we're changing that functionality by removing this dependency and allowing customers to do both actions independently. - Adding multiple domains
Now customers will be able to add 2 or more domains on their domain alerting service. This action can be executed from the Email/Domain Threats view by typing the domain name and clicking on the Submit button.
Note: Keep in mind that every additional domain will impact your company billing. - Adding option to scan users only.
Given the dependency of scanning the users without adding a domain has been removed, customer would be able to do the opposite too, so if admins want to scan only a domain then the app will allow them to do it by just adding the domain.
Cyber Threat Improvements
This release includes a bunch of improvements and new additions to the Cyber Threat Surveillance feature. These are some of the main changes:
- Removing Time Limitation on First Call.
Initially the Cyber Threat feature was configured to get results only about the last 24 hours, but now when doing the first call the app will be looking for historical results in order to get more data about previous months/years. Once this first call has happened the app will continue looking for results every 24 hours. - Adding a "Start Now" Button
From now customers that activate the Cyber Threat Surveillance feature will see a "Start Now" button that will allow them to initiate the task of searching results at the moment they want, so this will give them the chance to add all their keywords whenever they want.
Note: once this "Start Now" button has been executed, it wont be visible anymore. - Summarizing Cyber Threat Results on Reports
The summary of the Cyber Threat's results are now visible on the Boardroom Reports and Monthly Summary Reports. These reports will highlight the number of results and also display how many of them are pending, resolved or urgent. - Adding Option to Export Results
Admins with access to the Cyber Threat results list are now able to export the Cyber Threat results into a .json file.
